Discover the hidden gems of 30A, from shopping and dining to breathtaking natural beauty.
Hey honey! Traveling along 30A is a truly unique experience. This picturesque stretch of Florida's Panhandle offers adventure, serenity, and a chance to slow down. Here are some of my favorite spots.
A glimpse into traveling 30A
The scenic route winds through long-leaf pine flatwoods, past white sand beaches lined with sea oats, freshwater coastal lakes, and saltwater inlets. Many people come for the Gulf of Mexico, but I think the raw beauty of 30A's landscape is what sets it apart.
The beach communities
Each community along 30A has its own story and character. Here are the ones I love to explore:
- Dune Allen Beach
- Blue Mountain Beach
- Grayton Beach
- Watercolor Beach
- Seagrove Beach
- Watersound Beach
- Seacrest Beach
- Alys Beach
- Rosemary Beach

From the cobblestone streets of Rosemary Beach to the laid-back surfer vibe of Grayton Beach, there is a place for every traveler. Alys Beach blends modern architecture with lush green space, and Watersound has serene boardwalks and dunes.

Our favorite restaurants
Donut Hole has locations in Inlet Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, and Destin. It is one of our favorites for breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner, with a menu that has something for everyone.
Donut Hut in Seagrove Beach is a quick and easy donut stop.
Cowgirl Kitchen is a 30A classic with tacos, nachos, sandwiches and salads, in Blue Mountain and Rosemary Beach.
Old Florida Fish House sits on a coastal lake with stunning views, and the sushi is incredible.
Pizza by the Sea has several locations, including Gulf Place, Watercolor and Seacrest.
Great Southern Cafe, Bud & Alley's, and Shunk Gulley are all worth a stop.
